How we plan to end hardship in Nigeria — Buhari

How we plan to end hardship in Nigeria — Buhari
Many Lagosians still live in slums

President Muhammadu Buhari has formally launched measures being taken by his administration to reduce the current economic hardship being faced by Nigerians.
The president on Sunday formally unveiled what he called “by far the most ambitious social protection programme” in Nigeria’s history.
There is widespread poverty in the land today owing largely to certain policies of the federal government, which, the president said were “necessary pills” to swallow in order to have a better future.

My compatriots,
It is one year today since our administration came into office. It has been a year of triumph, consolidation, pains and achievements. By age, instinct and experience, my preference is to look forward, to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead and rededicate the administration to the task of fixing Nigeria. But I believe we can also learn from the obstacles we have overcome and the progress we made thus far, to help strengthen the plans that we have in place to put Nigeria back on the path of progress.

Image result for study abroad

It can be easy to simply ask about the scholarship opportunities a university offers. However, institutions receive hundreds of such enquiries, so your message won’t stand out.

The more unique or personalized your question or enquiry, the more likely it will resonate with the university staff member who reads it; it will be something different from what they see normally.

There are a lot of other things you should be asking. Just think of everything which you would want to know about a university you might be studying at (especially one in a completely different country from your own).

Couldn't wait for this,  just had to post it today

Here’s a tweet Travis Kalanick sent in January 2010. The reply from Ryan Graves happened 3 minutes later. That tweet was worth over a billion dollars.

January 2010 was the month Travis was doing a test run with 3 cars in New York for a mobile app that he and his friend, Garrett Camp, had just created.

They had decided it was time to start a company around the app and, needing to find a General Manager to run it, Travis took to Craigslist and Twitter looking for the right person.

EXCLUSIVE: The Governor that took a N105 million ($300,000.00) loan just To watch the UCL final in Milan.. Hilarious!!

The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress says it notes with sadness that the Governor of the state, Chief Nyesom Wike Thursday, May 19, sought and received approval by the Rivers state House of Assembly to obtain yet another N10 billion loan from a commercial bank.

APC said that while reasons (howbeit superficial) were given for the loans in the past, this time no reason was attached to the loan request before the RSHA approved it. The party recalled that barely 13 days after his swearing in, Governor Nyesom Wike on June 11, 2015 took a loan of N10 billion claiming same to be for provision of infrastructure in the state. Again on June 30,, 2015 he obtained a N20 billion loan from a commercial bank. This was followed with another loan of N30 billion on July 8, 2015. Not done yet, the governor obtained yet another loan of N10 billion on November 12, 2015. This was later followed with another loan of N10 billion the governor obtained on April 8, 2016.

Apparently this happened on campus
reports indicated that these Strange happening is from from Benson Idahosa University

this is a picture of a five month old unborn child that was found in the toilet of Faith hostel of the supposed Christian school Benson Idahosa University in Benin city.
On the 15th of May 2016 which was a Sunday the cleaners found the aborted child there and alerted the school authorities. The schools clinic evacuated the child and took it for verifications before discarding.
The Vice Chancellor Prof Ernest summoned the students on the 16th of May asking the students not to narrate the hideous event to anyone not even their parents nor any social media platform and they will be rewarded appropriately if they all kept mute on the issue. The sum of #500,000 will be given to lure the student who did this to come out. The same school that publicized their core values as transparency and all is now trying to cover up terrible acts like this and dash out huge amounts of money when they can barely afford several amenities for the students.
