Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state is offering a free tutorial services to the students of Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu
This is in line with his promise during ABSU 24th convocation ceremony to create
students/governor relationship
The governor has been a university lecturer for most of his life before joining government
The governor of Abia state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu today, June 9 lectured students on BCM 452, Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at ABSU.

The action of the governor won’t come as a surprise to those who know him well as he has been a university lecturer for most of his life before joining government.
Dr Ikpeazu has lectured in several universities and acted as visiting lecturer and external examiner to most universities. He had taught at University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ebonyi State University (EBSU) and The Polytechnic Calabar among other schools.

He holds first, Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Biochemistry.
He was Head of Department of Biochemistry at EBSU before public service in Abia came calling.
